AllRemote turns an Android phone into a remote control, touchpad, keyboard, gyroscope mouse and compatible Bluetooth HID controller. The core remote-control functions operate locally between devices. No AllRemote account is required.
The app may store device names, local IP and Bluetooth addresses, a television MAC address provided or detected for Wake-on-LAN, pairing credentials or client keys, connection preferences, language, mouse settings, custom remote layouts, shortcuts and advertising-consent choices. These settings remain on the device, subject to Android backup settings, and can be removed by deleting individual devices or clearing/uninstalling the app.
Commands and text entered by the user are sent directly to the selected TV, computer or Bluetooth device over the local network or Bluetooth. AllRemote does not operate a cloud server that receives this content and does not retain entered text or pairing codes in application logs. A receiving device or optional PC companion may process commands according to its own configuration.
Voice input opens the speech-recognition service configured on Android. AllRemote does not request microphone permission, record audio or store audio files. The selected speech provider may process audio under its own terms; AllRemote receives the recognized text and sends it to the device selected by the user. Smart View opens Android's system casting settings. AllRemote does not capture or transmit the phone screen itself.
The app contains Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP). Google may collect and share an IP address (which can indicate approximate location), app interactions, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. Data is encrypted in transit. Advertising consent and privacy choices are requested where required, and available privacy options can be reopened from the app settings. Current testing builds use Google's official test ad identifiers.

Internet and network-state access support local device discovery, connections, consent and advertisements. Multicast access supports local discovery. Nearby-device/Bluetooth permissions support pairing and Bluetooth HID. Wake lock may be used to maintain an active control session. Permissions are not used to create an AllRemote user profile.
AllRemote is not designed for children under 13 and is not directed primarily at children.
Locally saved data remains until the user removes a saved device, clears application data or uninstalls AllRemote. Data processed by Google is retained according to Google's policies and the applicable consent choices.
AllRemote uses platform security mechanisms and encrypted transports where supported by the relevant protocol. Local device protocols and Bluetooth security also depend on the receiving device and network configuration. No transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
